Sports World has a Year-Round school uniform department serving the Ark-La-Tex with uniforms from School Apparel, Elderwear, and Classroom. In addition to our 20 different sizes in plaid jumpers and 30 different sizes in plaid skirts and skorts, we have cloth roll-up nap mats, backpacks, lunch boxes in both plaid and novelty prints.  We also carry the plaid doll clothes for your 18″ dolls.  We stock an excellent selection of plaid headbands, plaid bows, and streamers ribbons. Sports World keeps detailed records of each school’s uniform policy to ensure that we provide you with accurate information.

For 50-plus years, we’ve clothed students and outfitted athletes in Shreveport, Bossier City, and beyond. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of outfitting the kids, and now grandkids, of families we have served for decades. Legacy is special to us here at Sports World. Which is why this glove here is so special to us.

Recently, we had someone come in with an older glove that they wanted reworked so that it could be played with again with pride. What made this glove so special?

It was the very glove that this young person’s mother used to play with. This glove had seen everything from backyard games to championship dreams, and this young person wanted to honor their mother's legacy by using it.

I am 56, and I can remember going to Sportsworld as a kid all the way back to the one on Mansfield rd.
